An evening of purpose & Possibilities
An evening of purpose & Possibilities
Dear Friends,
The Gala Committee for Higher Ground Youth & Family Service’s annual event, An Evening of Purpose and Possibilities invites you to join us in supporting the transformative work being done at Higher Ground.
Please join us Saturday, November 9th at the Clubhouse at Anaheim Hills Golf Course for our Giving Thanks, Gala. 100% of the net proceeds from this event will go directly to programs and services for our children and families.
Higher Ground Youth & Family Services is a non-profit organization that provides
mentoring programs and support services to youth and families in at-risk communities. Programs & services for youth include tutoring, sports, art, music, dance, cheer, Taekwondo, photography, video production, computer graphics and more. Family services include health clinics, ESL, parenting programs, computer literacy, and Zumba classes. Our programs and services are free to all.
We are an accredited field study site at Chapman University, UCI, CSUF, and CSULB. Interns from these universities who are in various sociological, educational and therapeutic fields of study, serve as our Higher Ground leaders and mentor our youth as they engage with them in all activities. Of course, we have many volunteers engaging our youth as well. Our goal is simple: to provide kids with better choices and empower their families. We are opening up purpose and possibility for these young lives and creating hope for their future.
Please consider helping us make a life-changing difference for these children. You can find more information about the event by visiting highergroundoc.org or by contacting Geraldine Densmore at geraldinedensmore@highergroundoc.org or Jenny Smith at jennysmith@highergroundoc.org. Thank you for your commitment to supporting the children and families in this community.
